Test your friends and family on their safety knowledge with this fun "Mountain of Facts" game!
1. |
Get an 8 x 8 (or 9x9) inch square sheet of paper or download the template (PDF). Cut out the square along the dotted lines. |
2. |
Fold according to the diagram and directions on the right. Notice that the outside panels read OXYGEN, HEAT, FUEL, and a MOLECULAR REACTION. These are the elements needed for a fire to burn. It's called the Fire Tetrahedron. |
3. |
Hold the game piece with your forefinger and thumbs (step 6). See how you can open and close the game piece in two ways? |
4. |
Have your friend pick a number between 1-5. Move the game piece open this this-way-and-that while counting to the chosen number out loud. Whenever the piece is open when you've reached the number, have your friend answer one of the two questions that's displayed. |
5. |
Open the panel behind the question to see if your friend's answer is right. |
6. |
Now switch: Let your friend maneuver the game piece and you can try answering a question! |
Have fun! You might also try to create new questions and answers using this "fortune teller" pattern.
