In order for a fire to burn, it needs:
   - Source of ignition (heat)
   - Oxygen (air)
   - Fuel (something that burns)
   - A molecular reaction

The fire tetrahedron (a three-dimensional shape with four faces) demonstrates what fire needs to burn. A firefighter's job is to remove one or more of these elements so that the fire will go out.

Click here to print and cut out your own tetrahedron. Fold it together and glue the tabs behind each triangular face.
