Wilton CT —
The Annual Wilton Farmers Market has returned… and it’s even better!
With summer on the wane, and leaves just starting their change, I reflect on local business.
The Farmers Market in Wilton, CT has been held on the grounds of the Wilton Historical Society for several years. While it always has been a nice spot to pick up some local produce and products, now it’s even better — mainly because the location is better — right in the middle of town – Wilton Center on River Road – and in the middle of lots of sidewalks and pedestrians. It’s where everyone comes to meet, play, shop, jog…
I have been drawn to its weekly presence, energy and people – every Wednesday. “In the past we always did well,” says Ray Dubois of Turtle Moon Health and Bee Love Apiaries, “but this year we’ve done much better. It’s due to all of the foot traffic and that it’s the main hub of Wilton.”
We can’t wait for next year!
