• Employ a web hosting service with auto-backups
• Employ a secondary web backup service (e.g.rsync.net)
• Create local backups of website e.g. “Backup Buddy”
• Backup the local website backup to multiple hard drives
• Backup the local website backup to 3rd party e.g. “Backblaze”
The Website itself
• Make sure YOU have 100 percent control of all website assets
• Install an SSL to encrypt communications
• Keep website database running current versions of “php” etc.
• Monitor website for malware injections, etc. (add-on service)
